My totality photos from yesterday did not come out as good as I hoped, I had some trouble with camera settings and my 2 1/2 minutes ran out. Anyway here is one of a few that I will post as I get them processed.

I had the same problem, just not enough time. Looks good to me though. I drove down to St. Louis.

Thanks and very good. If I had had a plan, I would have done better. I had a neutral density filter on for the partial eclipse shots and I fumbled around getting the filter off and getting the exposure right. I ended up shooting the totality shots hand held and I noticed that most were shot at shutter speeds below 1/60 (at 300mm). Needless to say I am not that steady. Here is the best I got of the diamond ring, but it looks more like an eyeball

This is one of those shots that is technically far from perfect (shutter too slow, focus not spot on), but seems to me to be both alive and atmospheric (because of the late-evening glow, and the sunlight on the ducks and on the water droplets).
