I'm in. I was hoping to use my K 135mm f/2.5 but I have to send in my K-5 to be fixed and the K 135 doesn't meter so well on the K20. At least not for use every day. So I'll go with the DFA 100mm WR macro that I got recently. I need to practice with the lens anyway.

NaCl(and I haven't done nearly enough macro lately)H2O

IF I get my DA15ltd on Monday I'm in this with it on my K10D. Great opportunity to get to know the lens..! But if the Finnish postal services has screwed things up I might have to pass this month and try again next month..!

I haven't done this in a while and I'm still busier than a one armed paper hanger. I have a Super Tak 28/3.5 that I picked up over the winter months that has seen little use and it needs some lovin'. I'll give it a shot (pun intended). I do have a vacation in a week and we will be camping on the ocean in North Carolina Outer Banks. The campground claims to have wi-fi so I may be able to post a few shots but I may be posting a bunch when I return. I don't have much editing capability on the laptops.

Well at the 11th hour to midnight here I've decided on my Single in lens as the Pentax FA 28-80 (pz) lens. It's been a nice lens on the film cameras and I really haven't spent too much time with it on the DSLRs. So, off we go with it strapped on the K20d.

Yes, I am in, I guess. Decided to go with the DFA 100 macro lens, so plenty of macros, it seems. Are any other Aussies going to hang in with another month, or one (or two+) new Aussies would be even better.

So june was nightmarish, very busy, missed several days simply because I didn't have time, don't see things improving in the near future... Of course I'm in for july! But I'll pick something easier than the 28; I still have the afternoon to decide, but I guess I'll use my Pentax-F 50 f/1.7. That's, what, four 50s this month?

Gang, as I've been out of the day to day grind on the Single In biz for the past 6 months, I have a question. What's with the multiple posts on the threads? I thought the point was to post only one shot per day. Was there a loosening of the guidelines somewhere over the past months? I know, that this challenge is more personal than stuck on any 'rules' but I was just wondering what was up with the occasional multiple postings.

Well, I think that for some reason people just have wanted to post mltiple images. For me it's okay(I went with flow) but I temd to keep it as guideline that one shot for one day... Should it be so that just one and extras in extras folder/ what ever else. I'm okay with both ways.

Maybe it should be mentioned somewhere?! Any other thoughts, guys?

I kinda thought that. Honestly last year I never bothered to find the extra's folder. I can also say that many times last year I would have posted a few extra shots too. So, I'm totally cool with the occasional multiple posts here. $0.02USD

Hi Earl,
The single in group posts in a daily thread created by one of our more eastern participants. It is in the group section of the forum. Pat posted a brief video which explains the posting. The idea is the daily thread keeps things organized. Another step to keep organization is to link your photo from an album or other place that can host. The participants would then comment there. Seems like a bunch of rules but it's refinement after a couple of years. Many new Single-In participants find this a bit confusing at first, but if you persevere it comes as second nature. Looking forward to see the rest of the month.

Cheers M.

@Matt - thanks, you beat me to it.

@Tim - I think a couple of shots are fine too. Last month a lot of people had a hard time to get their shots uploaded and comment. Nobody really policed the thread or mentioned the Extras thread.
