Post Processing Challenge #76

Welcome to the PP Challenge #76!

The challenge will run until midnight 7-9-12.

The photo I have selected was taken about a year ago at Coronado Heights. My vantage point was from the top of a "castle" built by the WPA in the 1930' of native sandstone. There were many other structures and stairways built at the same time.

Extra credit if you can fix the sky!

Here are the mediafire files:

Challenge_76.jpg (Jpeg)

Good luck to everyone and remember to have fun!

My take

There is actually a little detail in the sky.

Great start so far! There is still plenty of time for more entries.

I had a more careful edit I liked more but my system crashed while I was in the middle of working on it and this version isn't as good.. The wonders of modern computing.. :-)

Different crop for me!

I would be very happy if meeverett could explain me his PP! I love it!

Nice job to all!

Gabriel

P.S. please don't consider me for the final ranking, since I have no time to follow the site because of university exams! (just post my version because I like to receive your advices!!)

As I was reviewing all the great entries so far, and comparing my blah original, I noticed that something was missing from the heading.
Most are aware of the nice tradition, of the winner of this challenge, getting to host the next one, but, thought I should mention it, "just in case".

I must say, I enjoy these challenges because you get to see so many fresh, creative ideas and techniques. I think I can say that about this challenge as well. Keep up the good work!

There's still time and room for more entries, BTW, the more the merrier!

Thanks. I used Lightroom, but I didn't do anything too crazy. I'll have to look at what I did before I post a recipe so I don't leave anything out.
