The DA 15mm f4.0 limited that was listed on the forum this past week was put up for sale by a local forum member who did not inform me he was selling (or that he possessed it)

My wife told me I couldn't buy a new digital camera body until the mortgage is paid. I have released funds from my Full Frame nest egg to acquire a lens I have desired for some time.

I am picking it up from him tomorrow

No you are in good company. I ALMOST bought the exact same lens but pulled up short as I to have mortgage/credit cards etc. call for attention. But I can assure you that when I do actually get the DA15limited, I will be over LBA...really!

That is an awesome lens to own! I'm thinking I might concentrate on learning with my ME Super and skip the next month. I've been enjoying these last few months a lot and most likely used my camera more than ever, but university is back on, I'm going to be working along my studies and everything, so I'm going to see how I manage and will probably return after next month..! I'll be checking in every now and then though!

I think for next month I'm going to use my M 50mm 1.7, and I'm going to choose a theme. unlike this month when I was all over the place. It might get boring...but it could be challenging and fun!

I'm back from a week-long vacation with a lot of photos to sort and process, so I expect I will take a few days to catch up, but I'm still here. Missed 2 or 3 days, though, incuding at least one due to a faulty ME body.

Oh, and I finally bought that fisheye so I guess I'm in for next month.

just a quick note explaining my abscence! The internet died last Wednesday, some circuits blew up in the transmission tower.
The parts were got Friday, just in time for a lightning strike which fried the whole bloody thing! No hope of anything until Wed night if all goes well.

So, I sit at work sneaking 5 mins just to let you know I'm not dead yet.

A week without PF, and I was thinking of a rest?

So, will somebody be posting the info for the 2nd Anniversary of the original Single in September? I may just have to get back in for next month as I haven't really been shooting enough, and it's great motivation after a long break from the Single In... challenges.

Could someone bring it to Adams attention, he might mention it on the PF front page. Can someone announce it on facebook? too (I don't do facebook any more, my one million followers got too hard to manage )

I'll probably using my DA* 16-50mm lens, or maybe a Tamron 10-24mm lens, so no more bird shots for a full month.
I hope we get a big turn-out.
