Pins that came to me as hand-me-downs. Roy Rogers came in a cereal pox, the product is printed on the reverse side, an incentive for boys to demand that their mothers buy that cereal, then give them a big bowl so they can dump out the entire contents as soon as the box arrives to get to the pin at the bottom. The apparent miss-printed double image is actually a 3D effect. visible with red/blue lens glasses used when 3D was first introduced..

In 2009 a completely new incredibly expensive Yankee Stadium opened just north of the original. Tours were given and this is a momento of one of them. I did not take such a tour, and I cannot remember how I came by this little do-dad.

Raggedy Anne doll from the first year of our marriage, a gift to M from my mother-in-law, a not-so-subtle hint that she wanted a granddaughter. The doll in exactly this form was introduced in 1915, followed in 1918 by the first of a series of popular children's books that were part of my mother-in-law's childhood, and therefore part of M's childhood.
