One can see two old-style handles for a very old-style car.

I think this qualifies as a grip grip..
NEXT: I like this theme so keep going with handles, hang-onto's, grips, knobs, etc. Whatever you can lay your hands on.

Grab handles on the surface of a WW I German tank, to get on top to get down inside?.It looks as though it would take some strength and agility to do it.

NEXT.: More handles and the like.

A little non-functional decoration added to the handle of a decidedly functional item.

A very basic handle of a old car jack. At least the grip rotates on an axle.

NEXT: Keep the theme going.

Handle on a 1918 Mauser 13mm anti-tank gun, developed and manufactured as quickly as possible after the first tanks appeared on the battlefield. The stock and handle have a vague look of well designed but executed in haste.

NEXT: Grab hold of another, there are many more possibilities for handles and knobs.

Let us stay on handles, even if it is not very comfortable.

Control levers with both ball and "T" handles, as well as something that looks like a huge wing nut at the far left. In a reconstructed* flying boat, probably the navigator's position, or perhaps the co-pilot moved back here during landing or take off? I'll try to find out.

FOLLOW-UP: This is the engineer's position and the ball-topped levers are the engine controls. Presumably there woulld be a great deal of chatter between the pilot and the engineer during both take-off and landing.

*All the flying boats of this type were dismantled for their metal during WWII.

NEXT: more grips, handles, knobs, dials etc.
