Photo Scavenger Hunt Game Continued - Part II!

Here's one from The Great Game. Its not all that good as the tackler does not pin the arms to the side, and, as you can see the Lions player being tackled (The Mighty Lions) is able to get the handball away.
...................................???? I can hear some of you saying.

Australian Rules Football.
Handball: hold the ball in one hand & punch it with the other...not allowed to simply throw it...god forbid.
Tackle: must be below the shoulder & above the knee and must not carry the tackled player forward. The aim of the tackle is to prevent the other player from disposing of the ball legally.

Note....no helmets, no body armour. Played on a proper ground that measures some 170 metres X 140 metres, 18 players per side.

Lesson (1) finished.

Here are the kids playing a little one-on-one (lat year) My daughter played all through school but my son is about 60 lbs heavier and 6 inches taller - so almost even

Well, in the sports line... let see HOCKEY!

Preferably real hockey for us Canadians (or should I say Canadiens!!! go habs go!), and floor hockey, field hockey, heck even air hockey or table hockey for anyone else

ahah you would not believe how bummed he was. We told him and tried for weeks to convince him to come , but ....This is a ball tournament with a huge beer gardens we go to every year and we (usually me but there is one other photo geek on the team) make a DVD slide show of the weekend's pictures to give one to everyone that went. After Mike saw this DVD show (and believe me there are about 20 other pictures like this and then some) at the next regular season game at the 'Shack' having a few beers - I think I saw a tear in his eye
