That's really nice noel, and because you didn't specify a new item, here's a shot from an agility meet we attended yesterday (Saturday).
Let's have a few more favorites from the past week before moving on to a new hunt.

I actually meant to say- Keep the "best shot form last week" on the hunt! So you have read my mind.

The hunt seems to be caught on a snag, so here's a sign of Spring from this morning (Monday, 21st), and to continue the hunt
let's see some evidence of urban renewal - to take the topic a bit away from the wildlife people.
FYI: The robin (it's been cropped) was captured with a 400mm Tamron and 1.4XL converter, providing, IMHO, decent IQ. The Tammy had been unused for some time because of dust & fungus on internal lens surfaces, but I found a repair shop willing to clean it and they did a fine job. However, focusing on a lively bird means many taps on the "Delete" button.

I'm unsure how precise the definition needs to be. But to move the thread along, here's a photo of some downtown work.
Could we please see heavy equipment? Or if that's not available, how about anything that's yellow?

Despite WPRESTO's attempts at turning things away from wildlife...

How about some nasty weather? Define that however you like

How about an overcast dull day with a rare and large snow accumulation at Poitiers (Jan. 2012), plus a dirty dog ?

Please show me an outdated piece of "recent" technology (ie, Gameboy, Polaroid Land, etc.) ...

How about an LG enV phone from 7 years ago?

I like this... so another recently obsoleted bit of technology?

Simple, inexpensive, reliable, available in every local camera store or department store photo department, totally camera-brand neutral. WHY??? don't camera companies have a threaded shutter release button in addition to their dedicated electronic release socket????? How much would it add to the price of a $1000 camera? Pointless abandonment of proven technology.
BTW: Another annoyance is utterly worthless padded lens bags. No strap for belt-carry, no flap with hook & loop or snap to attaching to a camera bag, no metal loops for a shoulder strap, not even a strap to carry by hand. Useful only for stashing the lens in a drawer. Are we supposed to be grateful for the logo-bearing bags?? They are about a useful as a sheet of bubble wrap and two rubber bands.

Oh. I finished my rant. How about something showing the first or at least an early, or creative/unexpected application of NEW technology.

How about a British-style phone booth? Enclosed booths largely disappeared in USA by 1990 or earlier, and with cell phones, any form of public phone seems to be going obsolete. BTW, in Kenya, people have no potable water, much less running water, no indoor sanitary facility, no electricity, but practically everyone seems to have a cell phone. They are as much a revolution in communication as the basic telephone once was.
Show us a propeller powered aircraft - functional, no museum relics.
