A little jumping spider, unless you intended "animal" in the sometime vernacular use as meaning "mammals" only, and not all the other living things that science recognizes under the term "animal."

So to contrast, let's see a BIG living thing, animal or plant, or maybe even a really big fungus/mushroom.

FYI: In teaching I've encountered numerous students who use animal as equal to mammal, so they never considered birds, fish, insects, worms, etc as being animals. And also, although not relevant here, many people do not consider humans to be animals, arising from the common phrase "man and the animals."

thanks for the FYI

due to my training, education and lousy personality, I try to be as precise as possible in choosing my words and knowing what those words mean (which due to the English language isn't too precise ) and doesn't make me popular at times

I also don't worry about going with the crowd : you know the legend about the lemmings and the cliff don't you?

of course the legend isn't true but

And there I thought my work station was cluttered

Here we go, as we forge a way around all of these language technicalities. This one about the size of my to fists together.

Two marine mammals, seal and sea lion. The little sea lion likes to hitch a ride by holding onto the larger, older seal, who seems to take no notice.
Let's see something triangular and solid, no ironwork frames.
