Had to go back two years for this one. Many things on our tree have stories. Top center, hard to see, is a bird made of twisted dry brown grass. It was purchased in Hawaii, made by a lady around 90 years of age who was and had been totally blind. There's a harp at left from Ireland, a white glass onion near it with a cockroach wearing a Santa hat, all of glass, from Bermuda. You might be able to see a "roll of Santa's color film" (ASA 25) given to me many years ago as a Christmas present. In the right background, mostly in bokeh, is a little tree that is made of pine cones wrapped with a short string of white mini-bulbs. Our daughter made it more than 30 years ago when she was in first or second grade. It's become very dry and brittle, and sheds some bits of the pine cones every time it emerges from storage.
