The Lincoln Memorial Monument at the Sherman Summit rest area on I80 in Wyoming, the highest elevation along I80 at 8,640 feet.

How about statuary or monuments?

A longtime friend, back when we were in our early 20's. Shot on Ektachrome film, copied with my K5IIs, and A50mm f1.7 lens with a Pentax Auto Bellows M and Slide Copier For Auto Bellows M.
