"Spiky Bridge" is a little difficult to separate visually from the background. Built in the 1840's with convict labor.

NEXT: a cluttered interior space.

One wall of my living room. The other walls, the floor and the furniture were all done by the same decorator.

How about a ball? Pool ball. Football. Hairball

Daisy's mini, squeaky tennis ball, (un)carefully deposited in a rock pool.

Leather goods next? Bags, belts, wallets, watch straps etc?

Saddle. I don't think that any modern fabric/material has replaced leather for this product.

NEXT: Something dealing with mail, postal service or the like.

Bridge abutment of a design I'd not seen before.

Continue with examples of interesting engineering designs.

Modern building with some awesome colors. I always thought the colors were because of the sun, but guess what. The building is colored.

Not sure how ancient you want to go, but Notre Dame Cathedral fits the bill in my book.

Keep the theme- Ancient/modern engineering.
