This more of a toy train than a model train. The latter try hard to be realistic, whereas this train makes no pretense at being anything but a toy.
NEXT: Let's have something related to THANKSGIVING, one of my favorite holidays. It's really a shame it comes so close to Christmas.

Here's a wild turkey, although this one is probably safe as long as it stays in the metropark.

How about something else that may end up on the dinner table

I tried a zebra steak in Africa - tasty and decently tender. Springbok was the best, impala not quite as good as zebra. Warthog had plenty of flavor but was too chewy/tough. I could not evaluate the kudu as it was ground and used in lasagna.
NEXT: Ice cream.

There have been two ostrich farms locally, but I think that neither was economically viable. I've tried ostrich - it's not as good as emu (latter is delicious, had it twice from a restaurant called "Matilda's"). BTW I posted a different image of this fellow, with two of his chicks visible here as well.
NEXT: Let's go with dessert this time, either the ice cream requested above, or a lovely cream-filled puff-pastry thing the French are so good at concocting.

Funnel cakes, anyone?

Continue the desert theme, maybe something more gourmet as Walt suggested above.

We need FS999 on this thread. He always posts images of the yummiest-looking plates of food on the K1 thread.

Well, insofar as fs999 doesn't follow this thread (I don't think) here is part of the dessert selection at one of our African buffet dinners. They's typically have three trays of different desserts out every night. Makes you wish you hadn't wasted so much appetite on the main courses.
NEXT: I'll continue a request for desserts again, in case someone is scrounging through their files for something.

I was saving this for "V" in the Alphabet Race, but what the hey.
NEXT: Probably more pictures of picture machines out there, so let's recycle PHOTO EQUIPMENT.

BTW: An interesting feature on this camera which I think I have interpreted correctly, is the hinged device on the right side of the lens (as you are looking at it). This looks like a right angle prism that could be swung in front of the lens to enable correct framing when taking close-ups (= to avoid parallax error). It would probably require the camera to be mounted on a tripod.
