BIG EDIT -- No, you're right. Edith Head was the costume designer, and Hedda Hopper was first an actress, then a gossip columnist. I must have been getting ahedda myself.

After a 38C/100F day, we finally had rain, glorious rain, this afternoon. The first in a while - and hail to go with it. I had to move the aluminium-bodied Rangie under shelter. We're still getting occasional showers. The trouble is now the humidity at 81%

Shinjuku's street at night. K3+DA15. I should have used a 28mm lens for this shot. I will try it next time.

A street on Rottnest Island WA Australia - no cars and summer sun (the buildings are remnants of warders lodgings when it was a prison which adds a little piquance)

I see.

OK.

So why is a business in Michigan flying the state flag of Colorado?

Ah yes. I remember driving in England decades back along roads tightly bordered by hedgerows
Driving in Ireland was the same. Some of the country roads were very narrow, with hedgerows and walls on either side. I remember the grooves in the hedges - one lower down made by car mirrors, and one higher up made by truck and bus mirrors - no pics, pre-Pentax days.

I have no idea. I've only been in that building a few times. It is mainly full of clubs and bars. There is one restaurant but it is too pricey for me. I didn't even notice the Colorado flag until you mentioned it. I just noticed all the flags in a row.
