Are we heading toward downtown Canton, Illinois, or escaping the rain shower about to arrive from behind us? How about both!

skierd, thanks for that. I didn't know one put leggings and boots on huskies. I guess it makes sense - I'd want them, too.

Some street construction.
Arn, that construction vehicle is marked up like a police vehicle in some countries, e.g., UK, New Zealand, etc.

Yes, it's certainly visible!
Here's another truck on the road, but would I park it there?

But, judging from the orange barrier the tracks end before they get to the truck. I doubt that any train would be going fast enough to be unable to stop, unless the engineer were asleep, or talking on a cell phone.

Of course, those things never happen! Actually, it is an unused track. As for distracted driving, police here are trying to crack down. Is it distracted driving if I take along my camera to get a picture of the woman applying mascara while driving? Or the guy I saw reading the paper?

That's probably OK. What isn't acceptable is for the guy on the sidewalk to be taking a picture of you driving by and reading the paper.

Technically a driveway rather than a public street. It leads to a southern plantation. Scan from a chrome.
