Mill Creek valley last weekend.
I came to this spot after our September snowstorm and had a terrifying drive back down this road in the very saturated grease-mud. I managed to keep the truck on the road but it got dicey for a while there!

Road to Lindisfarne Island Northumberland. Taken around 1974. I did not wait for the tide to go all the way out.

Interesting. The brass band followed by the truck covered with flowers and a mini bus makes it look like a small funeral in Taiwan.

The street looks like a lot of streets I have seen further south such as in the Cotswolds, today.

Although I have not been back there since 1985. I understand the band is still going strong. It's been playing since 1861.
