Three parallel "streets."
1. On the near side of the canal, a split path for pedestrians (far right) and bicycles (closer to the canal).
2. The canal
3. On the far side of the canal an important if not major vehicular road with an articulated bus, common in Europe, going along.

We took the funicular up to a grand view over the city from above Fjellsiden. We found an unexpectedly expansive and pleasant park in addition to the panoramic view of the city.

I'm not sure if funicular tracks are acceptable as a "street," but I'll bet no one will complain - - - successfully.

Near Khowarib One of our well maintained gravel roads ( not being sarcastic , this one carries a lot of traffic and is still very driveable )

You want roads? They don't come any longer than this. You can follow this road until it disappears at the foot of the distant mountains. Taken in 1971 with my Yashica 5000 and Kodachrome in what was then North Transvaal, South Africa. The slide, projected, supplies the greatest possible detail. It was scanned with my K5. A larger scan is available on the Flicker page, with a click.

A traffic circle near Kirkenes, about 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle. The poles resemble supports for a plains Indian teepee, but I doubt that's what they are.
