Here's a street in Denmark.

The Mandøvejen leads to the island of Mandø in the Danish Waddensea. This road can be used only during low tide.

FYI: Some quicky facts about the Aran Islands

There is stone fort called Dún Aonghasa that was built about 1100BC. It stands against a terrifying cliff that drops into the sea.

A stone church was built in 490.
The soil is thin to non-existent. People hauled up seaweed onto the rocks and let it rot to create soil.
One castle was built there, but Cromwell's men destroyed it and almost all of the churches.

In the 1800's the population was around 8300.
Today there are about 1200 people living on the islands.
There is a very pleasant hotel for tourists.

Road along the north shore of the Gaspe Peninsula approaching a large wind farm. They had a gift shop where they sell their produce in small brown bags. We stopped but didn't buy any because they didn't have anything fresh, only the harvest from last year and M didn't want another old windbag in the car.
