ffking: The light in that first shot is almost mystical.
This is another scan from a chrome taken in Alaska, the road down to the right heading east back toward town (don't be deceived by the river which is wider and can be seen a longer way than the road). In the opposite direction, where we had been, it leads to Denali Backcountry Lodge where we stayed. The road ends there, and westward its hundreds of miles through wilderness to the next road or dwelling.

This one is kind of boring, but important as it should (hopefully) be my view out my new driveway at my new (to me) house for the next couple decades. Yup, I'll be living across from an intersection.

thanks - it was just after sunrise on a beautiful May morning - it's actually my most viewed (and thus ripped off) shot on the internet by a long way (over 500,000 in Panoramio) so I guess it has something that appeals - it WAS a beautiful morning!
