Not quite a road. An access to a parking area for conservation land. The 15mm Irix rendered it quite well and only had a tiny bit of flare away from the sun, and it was easily cloned out.

The road I live on... looking west from my driveway...

A snowmobile road.

I like that penultimate image. I think it captures the mood and look of the countryside.

MY house is 60 feet up the side of a ridge from that road. And there's a river 50m to the left of where I'm standing. So it may be a typical road, but it doesn't tell you much about my road. It's missing two important features. The ridge and the river.

Great set of shots Norm. I had to view them using the phone, though There's some strangeness going on with the forums and my pc. Yours and a few other members' photos are invisible to me for some reason, using three different browsers. The problem surfaced about a month ago. Hopefully I'll get it sorted, meanwhile the mobile is working fine. Nice work

I have a suspicion that an ad blocker on your PC is interpreting the links to images off site on photobucket as ads and preventing you from viewing them.

I turned off the Ad Blocker in Firefox, my primary browser. I'm not running an adblocker in Chromium and Opera, my other browsers. The problem persists. Running LinuxMint, btw. Thanks for the suggestions, though

Well, that's a head scratcher - I see all six of Norm's images above in Firefox on a Mint 18.1 install under a VM on one of my OS X boxes... technology, gotta love it.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming. :-)

Its a secret plot by the phone companies to get us away from our PC's and laptops and forever enslaved to the smart phone.

True, they're all great shots, especially the antepenultimate, which appears to have captured a sundog...
