Excellent photo. Can you even begin to appreciate the work that went into building that road? Absolutely amazing.
Thanks! And yes, the amount of work put into building those roads is amazing. Apart from the new coastal road almost all the roads on the island is paved in this fashion. But I suppose that if you have an endless supply of lava rock, that's what you use...

Bonjour Racer,

Close ... both Jean Juniors (or "Junior-ettes"). Justine, the eldest, waving and then the middle one of three total girls, Marianne ... who is "yes", quite concentrated.

Salut, Jean Junior ... yep, I am a true "Junior" named after my dad ... good guess !!!

For sure. The naked desert beauty of parts of Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Alberta and Saskatchewan are unique. Parts of Texas and Oklahoma are like that too!

Wyoming.

Nice, but the wind never stops blowing.

I like the way the curve of the clouds mirrors the curve of the road.

Nice!

A super load! It cost a lot of money to make one of those moves, and the drivers get paid huge bucks for that work. Way bigger than anything I've ever moved. Widest I've ever done is 14 feet, longest is a tad over 100 feet, heaviest was 110,000lbs. Never been over height yet.

Thanks, that may be the biggest I've ever seen. I'm not sure you can pick it out but there was a driver up on top steering the last trailer section. I followed this a little watys and there were about 10 police cars leading and following to stop traffic, the poor guy arrived about rush hour time in the area.
