Very nice shot nothing like fresh snow or freezing rain on tree branches to create a winter wonderland atmosphere especially after the sun starts shining off the ice and snow.
Sadly on a road like that you have to look out for the idiots who drive too fast for the conditions and end up in the ditch or worse.
Sorry for the rant but I've seen the consequences too many times!

The left is more interesting, but it dead ends about 50 yds back. The right goes to a creek bridge, just visible in the photo.

Thanks, Paul. We loved visiting there - our guide is an archeologist who works at the sight. They are still digging there - in under the current town of Ercolano, where a large amphitheatre is being excavated.
