Windsor Mill Rd. From My Back Porch

The horizontal in the center of the frame is the bridge over the Gwynns Falls. In the distance (upper left) is the old millrace, filled in long ago and now part of the Gywnns Falls Trail which one can hike or bike all the way to the Baltimore Harbor (confession: never done that )

The preceding image is such a lovely Arcadian spot, and here is the near opposite, a street entirely bounded by buildings, and extremely narrow, suitable only for two-wheelers. At least you can see the tops of the buildings, so this isn't quite an urban canyon - - maybe an urban gully - - and there are plants and some flowers.

I think I posted this image a couple years ago. Maybe nobody remembers. Somewhat different from the preceding road.

Urban street in Ireland. It's one way in the distance and parking on one side, but it may be that the near end is pedestrians only. There is a cross street right where the front end of the vehicles.

Just for amusement, to follow the image above, scan from a chrome taken in 1985 of the road heading north to Harrison, MT. The emulsion hasn't held up well (Ektachrome not Kodachrome) and scans are never as good as the original (= excuses for poor IQ). It must have been rush hour as there is another car on the road

Kings Highway, NSW, running from Batemans Bay to Canberra over Clyde Mountain.
(Obviously taken by Mrs Rod through the windscreen (windshield) while travelling)
