Urban streets in the Azores, mostly pre-automobile which in some cases leaves little room for pedestrians.

A very pleasant tree and hydrangea lined road, even on a very dull overcast day (notice the almost complete absence of shadows)

Excellent pictures in this thread lately. Walt, if I ever visit the Azores, I'll walk or let someone else do the driving. I love the contrast between that and Basie's shot.

Access road to the Horse Mesa Dam. Low gear recommended.

Glad if you enjoy some of my images. Here's one that's a jarring contrast to Arizona. An unnatural bridge goes over it for the convenience and safety of ecclesiastics.
