Miami, Arizona. 60% of the copper produced in the U.S. comes from Arizona, and two of the ten biggest mines in the state are right next to Miami. You can see it brings great prosperity to the region.

This is a fairly well known aveniue of old beech trees (sadly nearing the end of their lives, increasing gaps appearing as they are chopped down for safety reasons). Terrible thought that it's over ten years ago that I did a sort of project on them, visiting in all sorts of weathers, but I was recently just driving through with a camera on board and the winter mutedness apealed to me,
