Approaching the gates that meant the end of our stay at Kapama. Notice the two super clamps on the cross bar. When loosened and rotated, they each bring up a bean-bag rest for big lenses.

There is no actual junior high or high school there though (the production company was 3 blocks away )

All that stuff aside, this is a terrific picture on so many levels. I might have cropped it a bit on the left and bottom edges, myself, but I love the composition, the subject matter, the white balance (multi-auto?) & sharpness. Great picture. Evocative.

Thanks, I have been doing little to the gfx files as I get to know the camera. And just the awb gfx style.

I went for a walk today, most of the six mile loop was on a road I had not been on yet. The road was wet and mostly sandy dirt, with a lot of ruts and water holes, but most of it had bobcat tracks going up and down the road. There were also deer, fox, coyote, and raccoon tracks, but most of those crossed the road or used it for a short time. Beautiful scenery with areas of longleaf pine savanna and pocosin. I saw no wildlife except for a few birds, but best of all no people at all for 2 hours and 31 minutes, just nature.
