Cyrus Avery Route 66 memorial bridge (Tulsa, OK)

I assume this classifies as "street photography" even if it's not from the top.

Historic bridge is on the left which is currently closed due to structural issues. Once the bridge on the right replaced it, it was suppose to be a pedestrian bridge but was considered unsafe. I didn't get photos but there's nets under the bridge to protect pedestrians from falling debris (bicycle/walking path). We saw a couple holes through the bridge. Not sure how long it'll last but I'd say the future is grim since there's no plans to repair it. No plans to demolish it either but that's inevitable if it's not repaired.

Well, It would need to be in English as well for me. Welsh makes very little sense to me.

The context more than makes up for the fact that there's no image of the top of the street. Too bad this fell into disrepair, because it looks like a nice bridge.

The mirage / shimmering at the end of the road is wonderful! Great capture.

This is from last November, just up the road from the place we'd (then) just moved to.

K3 M135 on a road in front of Tokyo Imperial palace which was back in the late 80s to mid 90s at the peak of Japanese bubble, the around 3.5 square Kilometers of land the Palace sit on were worth as much as the state of California!
