Street Photography (No, Not THAT Street Photography) - Share Your Shots of the Roads

Some of us live in places where there are more roads then people. Figured we could have a 'roadways' thread.

Share 'em all - from interstates to dirt tracks.

Do bike roads count?

Thanks. IIRC I had to play games in post with it in post because the sky was so much brighter than the ground. The ground, really was what I was trying to pull up. its one of the few photos I've done serious post process on and actually liked the results.

Here are a few more of my road shots - I tend to take a lot of them.

Central South Island, New Zealand

The McKenzie basin in New Zealand is know for its stark appearance and these are so typical of the roads up that way.

I've only posted once or twice before, as I consider myself a noob lurker. However, I love roads and I can't resist not posting here. This was taken inside the vehicle, while I was on a business trip in Southern Philippines.

Pentax km, kit lens.

Hope it ain't bad.

OP thanks for this thread! =)

Taken a year ago on the Blue Ridge Parkway, with a K-2000 (that I'm hoping to replace with a K-30 for Christmas) and 18-55mm lens.

Yeah, I didn't notice it until later. One only sees it on shots like that. My daughter has the camera now, I must check it again when I see her next (she's 500km away at Uni in Armidale).
