So, here is a new challenge.

The idea is somewhat identical to the famous scavenger's game. However, here it concerns: looking close, learning and ... guessing. Be the first to know what lens took a picture, then post one of your own, with the same question.

Aim is to learn and see what kind of lens takes what kind of pictures.

I think we should limit this to "DSLR"-photographers. So no conventional SLRs here (sorry guys).

I think too we should limit the pictures allowed to subjects that normally would not be good enough to post them on a prestigious forum like this one. Remember, this is a game!

Well, all I can get is from the EXIF, which isn't much. It's a lens that doesn't record the focal length or f-stop. But I don't have a large enough base of experience to take a guess on this one.

It is a pretty vague challenge, because you could take roughly the same picture with a great number of lenses.

Damn ... I'll just have a guess and say FA50 f/1.4 ... just cos i can.

M50 1.7 is my guess.

An M42/K-mount Pentax, or third party, lens took your photo.

Because the horse's snout looks sort of stretched, and there's a narrow depth of field in an apparently well-lit scene, I think it's a fast wide-angle, shot wide open. Unfortunately, I think there are too many variables and possibilities to make a meaningful game (to the extent that's not an oxymoron) that we could keep alive.
