Another image of the curious African "sausage tree." Now how did they come up with that name?

I didn't see too many beautiful colors this year. Most leaves turned brownish or fell before changing colors Global warming?

Interesting tree. Is that a fruit?
Yes, classified as a fruit. It's hard at first, pulpy later and apparently toxic or at least purgative for humans. Trees can have scores of them dangling like that

Sausage Tree is a good name. I wouldn't call it anything else, except for maybe ... but that's not nice
