Trees in bloom = not fair. Actually, MessyChewBits weather suits me just fine. I don't think I could tolerate Texas summer heat, it would wear me down, and M would whither away. She starts shutting down when the temp gets above about 85.
Here's is a tree that's very small but very old. A bonsai that it's owner has been training for 17 years, but the tree itself (buttonwood) is estimate to be 200 year old. It's about 18 inches tall.

I like the second image particularly noelcmn.
Trees of this type were blooming all over Disney World, but alas, my daughter, who knows plants far better than all the rest of us together, could not put a name on it.

Perhaps more waterfall than tree, but seeing as i focused purely on the broken branch I felt it qualified
