Bamboo, which I think I have posted on this thread before, is a grass that has pretensions of being a tree, albeit a small one.

Bamboo may be pretentious, but pampas grass is more pompous.

A tree that may not last much longer, but "not much longer" for tree could be 25+ years.

This is from my first roll exposed using the sunny 16 (and adjustments depending on what clouds are in the sky), which I finished today. It is ilford hp5, show using a konica auto s2 which a seemingly broken meter. Developed and scanned at home. I'm glad I got away with guesswork

For that picture I used the Pentax K-1 with the DFA 24-70mm (only lens I had with me in Mexico and Cuba).

Tree at sunset (also with the K-1 and 24-70).
