And another dose from a tree lover.
This once gives the distinct impression the the wind came from only one direction and stripped it of leaves and branches on one side only.

Rietvallei Nature Reserve

From the same place, these are Eland-one of the world's largest antelope

Birds and trees-go together like love and marriage or Horse and carriage, like the old song goes

More Rietvallie Nature Reserve, this is an island in the large dam.

Some beautiful photos on display here - love that frosty scene, dunerunner.

Taken at a local park in mid-March - the blossoms have given way to new green leaves by now. (xposted to POTW)

And some from Kruger Park- These are Fever Trees, so named in the belief that anyone who slept under or close to these trees, developed a fever, probably as a result mor eof Malaria than anything else.

@00 year old Baobab Tree

Here an interesting one- Full of expectancy at the sight of a road kill.
