One from my lockdown exercise walk yesterday. Still has leaves on it. Granted they are a bit dry and brown however a resilient species.

I took these last weekend on top of the mountain behind my house. I was hoping a nice sunrise would light things up with the fresh snow, but that didn't happen. Instead of the panorama I had planned on, I took pictures of various trees that I thought looked pretty cool. I like the contrast between the trees and the flat, dull sky, and I think it works well with the muted colours. All were taken with a K3 and SMC A 50 F1.7

SCAN from about 40 years back. I remember taking this picture, standing on a ladder at the house of a friend who was an excellent, award-winning photographer. The image was almost certainly taken with a Pentax 16mm fish-eye.

Fore- and afterthought: Before posting I thought but hesitated, and have finally afterward got up the courage to suggest this might be the famous banyan tree on the Edison property in Florida
