Here is a tree that was washed up on the beach on Hilton Head Island. This is an HDR taken with a K-x and the DA-L 18-55 Kit lens. I posted a similar but different shot from the same morning over on the Kit Lens thread.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something about this photo I really like. It captures something of the attraction of a morning walk along the beach very powerfully. Also, it's an original angle on the "trees" theme.

Thank you very much! I woke up early to get some shots before there were many other people out on the beach. My later shots from that morning have more people in them.
