Six years ago this month I bought a Pentax M 135mm f3.5 from a craigslist seller, these were my first shots with it. Taken with a K-01.

Lovely images Bob. I bet you wished you'd tried it sooner! K.

Having just re-read your message, I'm guessing the images are six years old too. oops. Still, great photos whatever. K.

Nice pair of images. Capture the feel of a tall trees with virtually no undergrowth, somewhat park-like.

One of the early signs of Spring around these parts as well. Very nice!

I spied a grill and a picnic table, so it could very well be a park.

Trees on our town common. A little barren in winter, but these commons are really pleasant spots in many New England towns during the summer. A problem: primarily mature trees, few half-grown replacements so when an old one dies or is toppled by a fierce storm, it takes a long time to reestablish the summer shade (there is a newly planted tree to the left). It's happened twice to this common, once when all the magnificent elms died, and again when the 1938 hurricane roared through.

As far as I know. I have posted some deceased trees and didn't get my head cut off And hello neighbor, we go to St. Louis quite a bit, we have friends and family there.

Here is another with a big hole, but still alive.
