Sorry, I cannot tell you. Our room was off to the right, not 104, and we never had such a thing hanging on our door knob. It may be something the people staying in 104 had asked for or ordered.

Remember the canvas water bags people hung in front of the grille on their cars while driving across the deserts? I sort of reminds me of those.

Or one of those fabric bags we hung across the door of the barn where the cows walked in and out, that dusted them against fleas.

I do remember seeing those water bags somewhere when I was a kid, but my family never used one. A ubiquitous auto accessory I remember that seems to have vanished is a litter bag designed to be hung from the dashboard cigarette lighter knob, or sometimes the door lock button in the back seat. We had several of those of different design and size.

Our weeping cherry several years ago, blooming beautifully = a good year. in 2018 there weren't a tenth as many blossoms.
