Thanks for the comment and really glad you enjoyed that image. As noted, the mood captured was much better than I expected when I pressed the shutter release. Of course, it has less to do with my skill as a photographer than having blind luck to be at the right place at the right moment.

I was really saddened this week to discover that this magnificent tree has succumbed to several years of gypsy moth depredation, and probably old age as well.
