This massive tree probably fell during the hurricane. It was heavy enough and falling fast enough to damage the stone wall/fence. The branches that extended over the road* were likely cut away by the town, but the landowner is responsible for the part resting on the wall, if it is worth the cost to have it cleared away.

*The curb is a short distance on the near side of the grassy stretch.
