Thank you, not the right lens though, the 50mm Macro. Should have used a wider agle lens, but too lazy! I'll revisit next time I am at Delta Park
I don't entirely agree. What makes the image for me is the prominence of the swollen bases of the fronds, something that goes unnoticed in most images of a palm tree canopy.

Well done image of a forest. Not an easy subject, hard to see the picture for the trees.

Thanks WPRESTO.
By the way, by the tree in the foreground, you can define where is north and where is south... moss on the north side of the tree

I remember that from a Boy Scout manual (I was never a scout, but I found several of their books interesting and informative)

Sometimes the light is just right, and yesterday after work was one of those times. So I went out and took some pictures of the fall colours from near my house.

K1 and SMC A 50 F1.7

Natural spotlight. K1 and F35-105.

One from my yard just because. K1 and F35-105.

Just a spot of colour. K1 and SMC A 400 f5.6.

Here's a hillside that has been burned in a forest fire. K1 and SMC A 400 f5.6.

Very nice, the contrast between the light and dark makes the shot I think.
