Some great jumping spider shots Tim. TFS. Btw, if you'd brought one into my bed and lost it, you'd be sleeping outside the rest of the year. I hate them things, spiders in general not just the tiny ones either.

All of the earlier shots were with the Lester A Dine with 44mm of tubes these last 3 I decided to get the old Pentax M100 F/4 macro out with a full set of tubes to compare results think it did a fair job especially considering you can get this set for a lot cheaper than any of the new macro lens

Here are some that my 15 year old daughter took with her K-x and the Pentax M100 F/4 Macro after I got through taking mine.

Not of the same calibre of many of the other shots on this thread but spiders is just something I haven't been able to attain (to my mind) perfection on yet. Still got some years of work to go there!

K5 with FA100 and Sigma EF500DG Super flash.

Ben, I don't know that I would want to be that close to a "Black Widow" as they are highly posinious.

Tim, tell your daughter Bravo! from me also. Excellent shots!!

Naw, she was more worried about getting her lizard secure than what I was doing

This is an Australian Red Back. Pretty lazy sort of spider. Poisonous like the black widow but has only been responsible for 14 deaths in Australia. I'd love to see a Black Widow just to see how similar they are though.
