Rather tiny spider in my garden waste bin, she seems to have been busy. I was not prepared to lean into the bin so this is a heavy crop.

Glad someone keeps track of and wonders about Pentaxians gone missing. Hope Hangman is OK.
A spider from Idaho. Not possible to get around for an image from the top or side of this one.

Well, I don't keep track of that many PFers, but Tim's work and his posts about his methods here on PF (e.g. right here) were an inspiration for me when I was just starting to shoot macro, so yeah, I've noticed his absence. His last upload to Flickr is from May 14th, so it seems like he's not been shooting this summer...

Your daddy long legs looks like a true spider, akin the the very leggy "cellar spider" here. What's called a "daddy long legs" in the USA is not a spider (easy way to tell: only one body part instead of a distinctly separate abdomen and cephalothorax).

I gathered as much after seeing Weevils post earlier of a Daddy long legs. We just call them that here, have no idea of their correct ID. They are common everywhere, and apparently great at catching mosquitoes.
