Spider under glass. This spider has set up shop between two sets of non-opening windows in our living room. Unless it finds an opening through which it can fit, it will end its days there.

This one in the house last night, captured in a bowl and kept until this morning for some shots in better light. They'll follow later

Even close-up this little spider blends in well with the background leaf.

This spider is pretty small for field photography.

Another view of the same spider. I'd be more comfortable working in my "studio" with a subject this small = easier to set up the macro with a focusing rail.

Wow! really like that bright green color. Looks like a crab spider. How big (or small) is it?

My only friendly neighborhood spider has been moving his web around. Today while weeding I threw the weeds through the web. I can't weed whip now till I find it. He had a fly yesterday so he will reappear.

It was taken some years ago but judging from the leaf it's on in the uncropped original the spider is probably no more than 1/4 inch (~6mm) long. I tried a deeper crop, essentially the head and about half the abdomen, but that was too much, the IQ fell apart.
