SCANS of a nursery web spider.
1) the gravid female
2) same female after laying her eggs and wrapping them in silk
I have an image of the spiderlings in their "nursery" that I must add to this post.

Afterward. I've added an image of the spiderlings. I watched these over several days and caught some of the very last of them ballooning to meet their fate.

Big spider I found in the basement, A species that turns up regularly there. Took a few picture before sending it outside. FYI: Zeiss Milvus 100mm f2.0 on Pany G9

Putting the K3MarkIII to the test with some macro shots. It looks like it is going to be great for this too. I used the Pentax 100mm WR with and without the 1.4X converter, all handheld. It is great for auto and manual focus shots.
