Group f/64 homage

Hei folks,

I would love to see your tibutes to the Group f/64. Please read the manifesto carefully and think about it. I am not sure, if we can manage to find some real tributes. Nowadays most important thing is lovely bokeh and also fancy colors (and digital color filters) are everywhere.

So lets post some pure photography-photos. Everything sharp. Everything clear. Not retouched. Composition. Probably black and white. Just use the right "development and paper" - aka contrasts. That's it.

I was thinking of photos maybe like this:

I will step up to the challenge. I have never heard of this group as such but I have been inspired by some of its members. How about these?

Okay, I think I one or two that qualify. It has a mountain, too! Way in the back...

I'm not out west, so don't strictly comply, and this is about as close as I come to that aesthetic:

Nothing to contribute at this point but I'm subscribing nonetheless, as I expect to see many great shots here. Good works above everyone.

I'm beginning to think I killed the thread.

Here's one from North Park in Colorado.

Hey everybody, who posted already here. Thank you so much!

It was actually pretty the thing and the pictures I had in mind. Maybe somebody can tell me, why I like this kind of pictures so much right now?

I may answer to myself: When I heard of the group f/64 and about her views about the photography of their time - that for example they didn't agreed with "Pictoralism" so much. I probably felt kind of the same. Now, when digital photography became grown up, I get saturated with so intensively post-produced (mediocre) (and at the end often good) images.

But the photographer of that group were pushing so much effort to other things - that I felt it so refreshing. Clear - but rich at the same time.

I am going to post some more during the next days. And thank you again.
