Love the detail in the stonework. Plus X Pan always worked for me.

More from Germany ca 1966, Pentax SV, Super Takumar 55mm ƒ1.8, likely Tri-x as the original prints are very contrasty and grainy.

Limburg an der Lahn Dom.

Tall Ship in Canning Dock, Liverpool - scanned from slide film.

Tall Ships in Vittoria Dock, Birkenhead for the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in 1984 (Scanned from slide film). I believe the ship in the foreground is the "Gloria", with "Gorch Fock" behind.

In 1979 and 1980, Southern Railway supplemented their own roster of excursion locomotives with Canadian Pacific Hudson 2839. I photographed it on the Eastern Division main line near Thomasville, NC with my SP1000 and either a SMC Tak 50/2 or 105/2.8 - the only lenses I owned.

Southwark c1975

Except for the car, it could equally have been 1875, the photo being taken before this became a tourist area. It is hard to place this spot today, so much has changed, but it is within 100 yards of the south end of London Bridge. The beam at the top is either the edge of the roof of the Borough fruit and veg market, or a railway bridge beam. My father grew up very close to here.

I posted a single of this view before but I don't think I've posted this two image stitch.

Two slides, Pentax ME, downtown Edmonton, late August or early September 1982.

This is what the thread is all about, the changes the world goes through over time. I am pleased to see my thread is still alive, but may be in danger of losing younger posters who weren't born in 1990. I wonder if there is some way to change the title to also include any 20 year old film photograph. Suggestions Adam?

This UK pub, later renamed the Crooked House, was destroyed in very suspicious circumstances this summer. Photo taken in the Summer of 1985.
