Post Processing Challenge #110

Welcome to the 110th edition of the Post Processing challenge. For this week's round my selection requirement was an image that I hadn't edited before and that seems in my opinion to have some editing latitude. I debated between a few but this one seems good enough. So let's see what you can do! As usual, there are no rules for this challenge and no restrictions on the post processing liberties you may take.

[Taken with K-5 + Tak-k 135/2.5]

This challenge ends on Sunday, September 15 at 9pm PDT (pacific daylight time)

I guess I'll give it a shot this week I made a number of edits here, including color corrections, cloning, cropping/rotating, and a slight vignette effect.

Here's a quick edit of the jpg. I thought the lower statue showed the most interest, so had I taken the shot I would have concentrated on it. Unfortunately, it's partly out of focus. Great texture and some shadows (though I would have liked a little more) lend to the B/W conversion using a yellow "filter".

Shame

I give my try here. I use Photoshop and Photomatix plug-in to adjust color, contrast, and crop.

Here's an entry done entirely in LR4 (with some free outside presets).

Great entries so far!

I gave it a try in LR4. Went for an old photo look with a tight crop to enhance the relation between these guys and a black and white convertion to make them stand out from the background despite the low contrast

First time poster, long time lurker and big fan of these challenges. I don't want to win the contest but I felt the compulsion to throw this out there. Hope it's okay.
