What a wonderful idea, and so many superb photos. I hesitate to post mine, but it was fun and educational going through my meagre efforts for this year. I had little time for pleasure photography, and concentrated mostly on water, petrology (I'm a geologist by training), and trying to find different perspectives on autumn photography. But that didn't stop me crawling on my belly to shoot these unusual fungi, which I believe are...
Dryads Saddles Waveform Twisted Maple Quadrattich(?) I love this tree trunk and have been shooting it through the seasons.
Falls and River Pothole The pothole in right foreground is scoured by grindstones trapped inside.
Gneiss Fissures Rainy River Shot with the kit lens (Pentax 18-55mm AL II)
Interface An Exclusive Gallery reject but I like it anyway
Reflecting Autumn Another Exclusives reject, but I like it a lot.
Meatpacker's I love this building and really like those windows and would like to explore this place further, but it's not possible to get close, so this is shot with the Pentax 55-300mm ED lens.
Dusty Unread Books Another pleasure of mine is reading, but this collection hasn't been touched in years. Shame on me!
Thanks for looking at my modest output for this year. All shot with the Pentax K200d, and in addition to the lenses mentioned, I also used a Sigma 10-20mm f.3.5 EX DC
