I'll try to share some...

Hard to pick -- I have too much attachment to all my photos and like them more than they are worth, but there they are. An awful lot of DA 15 limited photos/16-50 photos in the mix.

Some amazing shots in this thread so far!

My turn. It was tough to narrow it to 10, but here goes, in no particular order:

What a wonderful idea, and so many superb photos. I hesitate to post mine, but it was fun and educational going through my meagre efforts for this year. I had little time for pleasure photography, and concentrated mostly on water, petrology (I'm a geologist by training), and trying to find different perspectives on autumn photography. But that didn't stop me crawling on my belly to shoot these unusual fungi, which I believe are...

Dryads Saddles

Waveform

Twisted Maple Quadrattich(?) I love this tree trunk and have been shooting it through the seasons.

Falls and River Pothole The pothole in right foreground is scoured by grindstones trapped inside.

Gneiss Fissures

Rainy River Shot with the kit lens (Pentax 18-55mm AL II)

Interface An Exclusive Gallery reject but I like it anyway

Reflecting Autumn Another Exclusives reject, but I like it a lot.

Meatpacker's I love this building and really like those windows and would like to explore this place further, but it's not possible to get close, so this is shot with the Pentax 55-300mm ED lens.

Dusty Unread Books Another pleasure of mine is reading, but this collection hasn't been touched in years. Shame on me!

Thanks for looking at my modest output for this year. All shot with the Pentax K200d, and in addition to the lenses mentioned, I also used a Sigma 10-20mm f.3.5 EX DC

Great idea, Travis!
Some very stunning entries too, my compliments to everybody!

This is difficult...this year has been really productive, 10 is way too low
Anyway, a small contribution from me.

Derek- The Grizzly photo is definitely my favorite, and looks amazing in print. Thank you for the calendar.
Stormtech- The Toad and Mastiff photos are excellent, you must live on a great property.
Rondec- All brilliant landscape shots but #9 has it all.
Doundounba- #3 Sweat Bee? Fantastic macro.
VladM- Great job on these night shots.
Tamia- Twisted Maple is very cool.
TenZ.NL- This must of been very hard to do since your recent trip to Africa! The Elephant photo is superb.
Crewl1- I am partial to wildlife and love the Heron photo but #2 is a mesmerizing portrait..

Jakeblues- You must have a lot more patience than I . Not sure my OCD could handle waiting to develop film.

I'm really glad you started this thread dane.dawg - and glad so many folks are contributing. I like this idea because at least to me, there is no competition going on - just our own top 10 in our own opinion.

I'm really enjoying this and hope many more members will add to all the great photos!

I made a post in the "Post Your Photos" thread with a link to this one in hopes more people will see it.
