Some great shots here, but I don't know if I could pick 10 if I tried...but some I like pretty well...

I think that's 10, not necessarily my "top 10", but a few I think are pretty good without going through thousands...

This (to find those top 10 photos of 2013) was suprisingly hard job for me.. I was in army on half of the year so almost all photos were taken before the july.

Stickl, very nice. I felt shivers when looking at them, the winter scene, the aurora. I love the cloud in the valley shot.

This thread is so incredibly inspiring! I've made it my resolution to get outside and take more photos for 2014, but still, I took a few I'm happy with during the past year. Thanks for coming up with this thread, dane.dawg!

Echo your sentiments about No 5. WOW, it is super duper! But I also like No 3, my description of it is "Unique". Snow, mist, flowers and a bird thrown together to make a half abstract, half wildlife, half half monotone. Ok thatt's 3 halves, and according to mathematics- I'm confused.
Fries, lovd your set too.
Paleo Pete, have of course seen all of those on the various threads, but I gladly take the double delight of seeing them again. That dragonfly is awesome.
K McKall- Another thouroughly enjoyable set- is that you and son/daughter in the snow? Its a beaut-hope you used if for Christmas cards or a calender for family.

TFS everyone. As has been mentioned-Inspiring stuff here.

Every day I look forward to stopping in to see everyone's top 10, and every day I'm delighted. It's a treat to glimpse everyone's world through their eyes. As Noel said, this is inspiring stuff here. Thanks for starting the thread, Dane.Dawg.

Thanks a bunch dane, I've been tinkering with macro for about 4 years now and I think I'm finally fairly decent at it.

Thanks a lot noel, I love the dragonfly shot, the very best of all my attempts at dragonflies. I was just amazed it sat there and let me get that close...135mm lens and around 90mm of extension tubes, I was even more amazed I managed to hold it steady enough hand held.

Quite the awesome bunch of images here, I still haven't gone through the whole thread, but the ones I've seen are mostly very humbling, I'm pleased to be in such capable company.

This is a fun and inspiring (and a little intimidating?) thread.
I finally found some time and the right mood to put together a contribution. Let's see if this
thread can pick up some speed again.

I know mine aren't up to some of the standards here. I've only been into this photography thing for a year. Bought my first camera for myself (K-30) at Christmas last year after only ever having crappy P&S or phones. But saying that I am happy with my progress so far.... In chronological order....

First and only acceptance into the PEG

I enjoyed my first year of camera ownership enough I purchased an upgrade...

edit: Only just processed this one but taken last year

And last a photo I definitely should not put here, as we are not allowed cameras at work. But I love how it turned out and it's something unique I can share.

With the way 2014 is going so far, I am going to have a much harder time picking only 10.

Very nice. I have a few photos of me in the same industrial setting as your last one, but in a northern Tasmanian plant, probably part of the same company. Mine were taken in about 1986.
