Reading through The Count of Monte Cristo, I was struck by the beautiful imagery that Dumas used. Here is a challenge to provide a photo to a quote from the book.
I will let this run two weeks before deciding a winner. Hopefully the winner will then continue the challenge with a new quote. Any photo will be eligible, but weight will be given to photos taken during the two week window (honor system).
Here's the quote: Soon the center lock appeared, then the handles at each end, all delicately wrought in the manner of that period when art made precious even the basest of metals.
